Under the condition of low current less than 20A, the electrical life decreases with the increase of ZnO content, and the electrical life verification performance of AgZnO(ZnO content 8%) materials is the best, reaching more than 200,000 times. With the increase of ZnO content, the cracks and pores on the contact surface increase and the electrical life decreases under the action of electric arc.

    AgZnO electrical contact material has the characteristics of resistance to arc erosion, resistance to welding, electrical resistance to wear, low and stable contact resistance, etc. It also has the characteristics of resistance to large current surge, good breaking performance, fast arc extinguishing speed, resistance to electrical corrosion, and non-toxicity. so it has been used in air circuit breakers, leakage circuit breakers, MCB, contactors, disconnect switches, transfer switches, protective switches, etc. The alloy powder pre-oxidation method produces environmentally friendly silver-zinc oxide contact materials. It is easy to process and the material has superior electrical properties. It is a new type of contact material and has broad market prospects.
